Beverley Kennedy is a music teacher specializing in piano, djembe drums and ukuleles. She has over thirty years of successful teaching experience in the Collingwood area and is a strong believer in the “power of music” for the mind, body and soul.

Beverley trained with Music for Young Children in 1990 and taught this small class size Canadian program for twenty- nine years in her home studio.

Beverley trained with Ron Cross in 2006 and completed the Facilitator’s Workshop training for Djembe Drum. She continues to explore and learn Mindful Hand Drumming & Movement with Alexandria Jai from Vancouver, BC.

In 2006, Beverley offer Djembe Drum Workshops for classes in a number of elementary schools in Simcoe County.

In 2009, Beverley offered the Ukelele Club program to students at Connaught Admiral and Cameron Public Schools in Collingwood.

Beverley has been an active member of the Georgian Triangle Music Teachers’ Association since 2002.
